Sheila Sarem

Sheila Sarem is the founder and CEO of BASTA. BASTA is a nonprofit committed to bridging the college-to-career gap for first-generation college-goers of color. Before the founding of BASTA, Sheila served as the director of the national leadership recruitment team for the KIPP network. Sheila earned her bachelor’s degree in international business from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
