The Career Design Lab at Columbia’s School of Professional Studies recently launched a new podcast, “Rising to the Top: Lessons in Leadership.” The CDL team interviews senior industry leaders, including SPS alumni, who share the secrets of their success and reveal pivotal moments that impacted their career paths. In the second episode of Rising to the Top; Lessons in Leadership, we welcome digital transformation leader Alma Kondili, Chief of Staff to Citi’s Head of Client Experience. In a thoughtful conversation, Alma talks about bouncing back after unexpected career changes and explains her response to an abrupt change that led her to become the CEO of her career.

Alma Kondili

Alma is a Value-Focused Digital Transformation and Technology leader with significant expertise in Digital Strategy Roadmap and Execution, Operational Excellence and Change Management. She’s partnered with C-level executives to drive business transformation and to accomplish complex global initiatives. She is highly skilled in analyzing end-to-end business processes, designing digital products and transforming employee and customer experience.

A change catalyst and thought leader, she is a frequent guest speaker at Fordham University MBA Program, active member of FinTech Connect global community. She enjoys the arts and live performances in NYC and is an accomplished photographer.

As a digital transformation leader, she’s worked with companies including Standard and Poors, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, City National, Docusign, Citi Bank and TD Bank.

Alma is an alumni of Columbia University’s Master’s in Executive Technology Management program.
