In my role as an Associate Director of Data Science, I have to run multiple analyses in parallel. I also have to manage the team and take care of the requirements of multiple stakeholders. The interesting part is that I get to convert real-world challenges into data science problems and solve them. It’s a great adventure. Columbia’s coursework was extremely helpful in this journey. Columbia has such a vast resource of great professors and students and I learned a lot from many people. I also got the opportunity to register in different courses apart from Applied Analytics, which broadened my perspective. Finally, the focus on solving real-world problems at Columbia really helps the students in preparing for their future roles.
