Career Design Lab has been extremely helpful in my journey to search, apply and obtain this internship. My career coach Dorlene recommended that I attend an information session that Delta Airlines hosted last semester (Fall 2022). Delta was not initially on my radar but after the information session, I fell in love with the company! Dorlene was very supportive throughout my application and interview process, and I appreciate her for suggesting Delta to me.
This Summer, I will intern within Delta Airlines’ HR & Labor Business Unit. While there I hope to assist with special HR-related projects that impact cross-functional departments. I plan to contribute everything I’ve learned so far at Columbia’s HCM program to help Delta identify and implement improvements to existing processes and increase efficiency, productivity, and performance.
