American Society for Bioethics and Humanities
The Society is an educational organization whose purpose is to promote the exchange of ideas and foster multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and inter-professional scholarship, research, teaching, policy development, professional development, and collegiality among people engaged in all of the endeavours related to clinical and academic bioethics and the health-related humanities.
Individual Membership
Individual membership in ASBH is open to all individuals with an interest in healthcare from disciplines such as ethics, health policy, history, law, literature, and religion. Individual members receive all privileges and benefits of membership including the right to vote and hold office in the society.
Membership dues are based on income. Less than $35,000 – $63, $35,000-$64,999 – $110, $65,000-$79,999 – $147, $80,000-$99,999 – $190, $100,000-$149,999 – $252, $150,000-$199,999 – $315, More than $200,000 – $380
Healthcare Ethics Consultant-Certified Program
The Healthcare Ethics Consultant-Certified (HEC-C) program identifies and assesses a national standard for the professional practice of clinical healthcare ethics consulting.
