We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Analyst Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business growth.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our Business Intelligence team to support various data analysis and system administration tasks. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in data management, analysis, and system maintenance. This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about data-driven decision-making and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection, cleansing, and validation processes
- Perform data analysis and create visualizations to support business decision-making
- Assist with the development and maintenance of database systems
- Support system administration tasks, including user account management and system monitoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects and initiatives
- Assist in the documentation of data analysis and system administration processes
- Enhance system efficiency by incorporating workflows and automation features
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python, PowerBI and/or other data analysis tools
- Basic understanding of database management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary: $20+ an hour depending on experience
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a GED or High School Diploma
Duration: May through August 2024; 10-20 hours/week
Job Type: Part-time, Non-exempt
