Role Summary:
The Engineering Co-op will provide hands-on experience in the field of industrial distribution and manufacturing, where you’ll gain insight into the manufacturing process, inventory control, logistics, and customer relationship management within industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Will gain practical experience in application engineering, project management, procurement, sales, and vendor relations.
- Will assist in analyzing market trends and customer demands to optimize product distribution strategies.
- Will learn about manufacturing operations, including foundry, machining, testing, and shipping.
- Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Will receive mentorship from industry professionals and participate in training sessions.
Requirements :
- BS or BA Degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
