We are currently looking for a Senior Business Manager to be based on-site with a high-profile e-commerce global organization in Seattle, WA. In this client facing role, you will lead and develop the Program Management Office (PMO) team that oversees the finance and operational processes for our team of Commercial Real Estate Project Managers. Responsibilities:
- Works with management team(s) to identify, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve goals, including staffing, operational and financial analysis, reporting and planning
- Provide leadership, coordination, and management of the PMO team, including but not limited to: reporting & analytics, account operations, account technology platforms, account recruiting and retention, special initiatives & process improvements
- Leads the PMO team in a collaborative approach to creating innovative and efficient process for the account team and other stakeholders
- Oversees the account playbook development and ensures account teams adherence to processes
- Implements actions for improvement and practical solutions as approved by management
- Responsible for business metrics, strategic analysis of project resources, developing processes and standards to streamline overall business operations
- Conducts special financial and business studies and other duties as assigned by management
- Oversees invoice approval, ensuring timely submission of vendor invoices
- Produces routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages and pro forma analyses for management
- Prepares reviews and monitors data reports including project and related revenue pipeline and other business metrics
- Works with Cumming leadership to analyze income and expense trends to identify opportunities to improve profitability
- Makes recommendations on revised controls and implements actions for improvement
- Leads and facilitates communication of best practices, policies, procedures and initiatives to support account
- Ensures shared knowledge to implement process improvements
- Facilitates process improvement by engaging appropriate resources in issue identification and resolution
- Prepares and provides training and reference material to assist users
- May train new team members on policies, procedures, processes, administration and governance
- Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff
- Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent from four year college or university is highly preferrred
- 8+ years related real estate work experience to include budgeting, finance and or business analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous Team Lead or Supervisor related experience preferred
- MBA preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
- Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
- Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced proficiency in SharePoint
- Spreadsheet skill set to include advanced functions such as graphics, pivot tables, macros and database management required
- Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines
- Responsible for setting work unit and/or project deadlines
