Description
SAIC is seeking candidates for the summer of 2024 internship program that will run from May 20 to August 9.
- The candidate selected will participate in a program kick off, weekly progress checks, team building activities, an interim review and final review/presentation.
- The focus of this internship will be to provide policy and data research, analysis, and visualizations to support DoD Systems Engineering & Architecture areas and obtain insights in SAIC’s efforts in National Defense.

Qualifications
National Agency Check (NAC) Requirement and Clearance Opportunity:
- No clearance is required, and the candidate selected for this internship will have the opportunity to be submitted for adjudication of a DoD clearance.
- This position will be primarily remote, with duty station on the Pentagon Reservation, which includes attendance at Mark Center, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Alexandria, VA 22311 and will require successful adjudication of the National Agency Check (NAC) to obtain a DoD common access card.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- SAIC supports a directorate within Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Research and Engineering (R&E) committed to advancing Systems Engineering & Architecture and furthering the tenets of the National Defense Strategy. This internship will focus on modular open systems approach (MOSA), systems engineering (SE), and systems engineering research center (SERC) initiatives for DoD. Educational Background:
- Rising college senior currently pursuing a degree in a policy, business management, systems engineering, communications, international relations, psychology, or related disciplines.
