DirecTV’s deal with the league  expires following the 2022 season, but its parent company, AT&T, is not expected to renew with the price reportedly to rise from $1.5 billion to $2 billion-plus a year.  Earlier reports had Amazon, which will begin streaming Thursday night games next season, as the lead contender, along with Disney’s ESPN.
