Earnings for construction managers vary based on the manager’s experience, the type of employer, and the location of the work. The median annual income for construction managers was $87,400 in May 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The lowest paid 10 percent of these workers had annual earnings of less than $52,350; the highest paid 10 percent made more than $155,200. Construction managers typically receive benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation and sick days, and eligibility for retirement savings plans.
