I secured this opportunity through David Goldstein, a fellow alumnus of the Sports Management program. David works with Hartford Athletic as the CEO of Global Football Group (GFG), where he advises on constructing team roster, developing players and academy strategy, and handling technical aspects of soccer operations. He connected with the advisors in our program and described the profile of the candidate the team was seeking, which led to my referral.
At Hartford Athletic, I enjoy a dual role that spans both office and field duties, truly making this a dream come true. In the corporate sector, I work as an Account Executive for Integrated Sales, responsible for the sales and service process. This role involves selling a full portfolio of ticket offerings, community platform initiatives, and integrated programming such as youth clinics, non-soccer events, B2B offerings, and more. I am also deeply involved in corporate partnerships and marketing, as well as our club’s business development, where we continue to exceed year-over-year growth. My duties include conducting market research and analysis to identify strategic initiatives that enhance our club’s contributions to Connecticut’s for-profit and non-profit ecosystem.
On the field, I serve as an Academy coach and recruiter for multiple teams, focusing on evaluating and enhancing the soccer acumen of our club members. I am committed to the holistic development of these athletes as we strive to establish what promises to be a premier international youth soccer academy. My role also includes working with at least two teams, particularly within underserved communities, which allows me to blend coaching responsibilities with scouting potential talent.
I am grateful to CDL’s Dorlene Curwen for her executive-style coaching and support of my overall career.
