During my second semester at Columbia University’s Masters in Sustainability Management program, I started searching for part-time opportunities. I hoped to start my professional journey in the United States by graduation. As an international student, it was not easy to find part-time options on Sustainability topics. However, my friend recommended that I look at the Career Design Lab’s Job portal [SPS Talent is a recruitment platform for top companies around the world], where I was able to find 5 positions in Sustainability at Colgate-Palmolive. I applied to 2 of the positions and was selected for one.
In my role at Colgate-Palmolive, I will define and coordinate efforts around “Climate Just Transition and Nature,” as they relate to Colgate´s sustainability and social impact strategy.
