During my internship, I developed comprehensive programs to enhance the marketing and engineering teams’ practices surrounding the use of large language models (LLMs). These programs addressed key topics such as the ethical application of LLMs, including copyright law, transformative prompting, and data storytelling. I also improved taxonomy frameworks to support the company’s AI initiatives and structured a database categorized by data type, incorporating data lake concepts. For the venture arm of the business, I introduced foundational AI and LLM concepts to assist in evaluating and investing in AI startups, contributing to informed decision-making.

The internship also focused on expanding our knowledge in the technology design and built environment sectors. I participated in projects related to structural engineering alongside civil, chemical, and mechanical engineers. Additionally, I contributed to initiatives exploring the use of AI in the mobility, aviation, and energy sectors, gaining valuable insights into these industries’ applications of emerging technologies.
