I am excited to be a part of Amazon as a Senior Program Manager Intern for Summer 2022. I will collaborate and partner with leadership and business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers with this opportunity. I will be able to leverage my background in management consulting and data sciences to identify predictors and causes of business-related problems and implement novel approaches related to forecasting and prediction.
Having a career coach to guide me through the internship search process not only helped me improve my profile, but also served as a medium to keep me focused on my goal. Getting my resume reviewed by coaches at the Career Design Lab (special thanks to Tiya, Kat, and Phyllis) and using Vmock really enhanced its content and design. I’ve also had discussions with CDL coaches to prepare for the interviews, which helped me understand my strengths, prepare my initial pitch and introduction, and understand the most important things for me to mention from my experience.
Another helpful tool for applying to jobs I used was a tracker I created. The application info was put in a dump with an automated dashboard that shows important information visualized to keep me on track throughout the process.
