Position Summary
The primary objective of the Sales Support Specialist is to manage and organize communication with the company’s clients, enter sales orders, and resolve issues in a timely manner. This position will be a key bridge between our Technical Support Team, our Sales Team, and our client sites to coordinate updates on service levels and product performance. The Sales Support Coordinator will provide the best possible experience for every client who interacts with us.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Interact with clients via telephone, email, online chat, or video calls
- Sales Order entry and coordination with order fulfillment to ensure orders are accurately and timely processed and shipped, as well as provide order confirmation information to clients
- Assist Technical Support team with client communication regarding Remote System Maintenance Support activities across a nationwide network of client facilities. Regularly compile Excel and PDF reports and email communications to 41+ client sites and communicate with follow up activities tracked in various databases.
- Maintain timely and detailed ERP and CRM records
- Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to resolve general client service issues and concerns
- Maintain on-going communication with current clients to determine needs, solicit feedback, and promote new services
- Answer client inquiries and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team to ensure rapid support
- Proactively take steps to enhance the client experience
- Maintain internal CRM database with updated information about issues and useful discussions with the clients
- Perform general administrative sales duties as assigned
Qualifications
The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the job well:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with SmartSheets is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow written instructions and work independently
- Exceptional problem-solving ability, backed by good judgment
- Ability to collaborate across departments and teams
- Proficient with NetSuite or ERP systems is a plus
- Proficient with HubSpot CRM is a plus
- This is an office-based role; qualified candidates must be able to work onsite Monday-Friday during normal business hours
