This role reports to the Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for Montefiore Heath System. This leader will have management responsibilities for Senior L&OD consultants and Managers. In this capacity, the leader in this role will be responsible for the recruitment and performance management of the team, will provide leadership and strategic direction to the staff and direct reports on goals, objectives, assignment, accomplishments, and practices and will support the development of his/her direct reports through mentoring, coaching and other development activities. This leader will have system level strategic and tactical responsibility to drive and coordinate organizational effectiveness & development initiatives and portfolio with measurable results. In addition the responsibilities for this role includes: partnering with system level executives, functional leaders and other key leadership stakeholders and consultants to design, develop, and implement organization development and change management strategies to increase productivity, enhance organizational performance, engagement and help the organization achieve its strategic objectives. In addition this individual leads and/or participates as subject matter expert in large-scale organizational development initiatives (i.e. organizational effectiveness strategic planning solutions, change management , organizational design/re-design, team effectiveness, leadership development, talent management, organizational surveys, etc.) to support organization’s needs and strategies. In addition the leader in this role is responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of team members, particularly executives and emerging leaders.
Master’s Degree required.
Minimum 7 years experience helping organizations become more effective, develop leaders and solve problems. Skilled facilitator with excellent platform skill. Experience in assessment, training, change management, Instructional design and individual and team development methodologies. Skilled in initiating and executing both large and small scale change initiatives. proficient in MS ( Word, PowerPiont, Excel, and Visio). Experience with data and statistical analysis.
