One of our large pharmaceutical clients is seeking an EHS Management Systems Coordinator to join their growing team in Andover, MA. Full training is provided for this opportunity and this team provides a lot of opportunity for growth! This Coordinator will be joining the greater Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization, specifically on their EHS Management Systems team. This is a key role in supporting the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of the site’s EHS Management Systems. As the EHSMS Coordinator, you’ll be supporting the EHSMS Lead with managing the EHS SharePoint site, assisting with EHS trainings, editing and enhancing EHS policies and procedures, and supporting management of similar applications and systems including Cority and Enablon. You’ll also be involved in general EHS administrative support including reviewing safety permits and overseeing contractor safety work. From a training perspective, you’ll be responsible to kickoff EHS trainings, work with EHS subject matter experts to assess written procedures for quality and training impact, while guiding the SMEs in developing lesson plans and training programs to achieve business needs and/or regulatory requirements. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work both independently and well with others, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a self-starter mentality that is willing to take initiative and drive improvements to ensure overall success of the EHS team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Education, EHS, Environmental Policy, or related field
- 1-3 years’ experience developing and implementing management systems and/or training programs
- Background or prior experience in training, education, and/or administrative work
- Computer savvy – Proficient with SharePoint
- Excellent writing, editing, and collaboration skills
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $60,000-$75,000 (flexible based on experience)
Hiring Method: Multiyear contract – After 1 year on contract, the individual will have the opportunity to be brought on as a permanent employee or have their contract renewed for another year
