SUMMARY:
The Marketing Content Coordinator will support the marketing department by crafting and managing engaging content for the company’s multiple brands that drive customers to action while maintaining messaging style and standards across various channels, including Amazon, eCommerce, and social media.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Write, edit, and proofread marketing content, such as product sales copy and enhanced brand content, newsletter advertorials, labels and packaging, social media posts, customer emails, direct mail pieces, and other marketing materials as needed.
- Utilize AI tools and platforms to analyze and optimize marketing copy, ensuring it is tailored to target audiences and maximizes engagement and conversion rates.
- Assign, traffic, and manage online product and label copy projects.
- Ensure all marketing content aligns with each brand’s voice, tone, and messaging.
- Collaborate with our regulatory team to verify that all marketing copy complies with legal standards and industry regulations.
- Continuously optimize marketing copy across all channels for SEO to increase organic traffic and improve search rankings. Leverage a partnering Amazon agency to stay up to date with Amazon guidelines, industry trends, and best practices while routinely conducting your own research.
- Manage relationships with Amazon partners and external content creators.
- Assist with other tasks to support the marketing department and other cross-functional teams.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills – AP Style preferred – with an ability to develop engaging and innovative content that’s informative, consistent with the brand, and resonates with the target audience.
- Effective organizational and project management skills with the talent to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization is a plus.
- Proficiency in using internal project management tools and adhering to templated formatting guidelines.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, journalism, English, or a related field.
- Experience in copywriting, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Experience with AI-driven content creation and optimization tools to enhance the effectiveness of marketing copy.
