Ancestry is looking for a Vice President, People to be an empowering leader and consultant to achieve success across the employee lifecycle (Talent Management & Development and People Business Partners). You will help develop our plans, programs, and strategies with an emphasis on building leadership capability, talent management rhythms, and inclusive teams.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, People & Places , you will be an essential part of the People and Places team and will play an active role in the goal of engaging, developing, and retaining great people for the global organization. You will bring a passion to promote outcomes that allow our employees and business to succeed. What You Will Do
Be a trusted and credible advisor on people, organizational, and business plans; driving outcomes that support employee and company success.
Work with business leaders to help guide strategic, creative solutions that empower our team members to bring our values to life.
Lead a global team of People Partners to evolve the management and functioning of the teams they support.
Counsel and coach leaders on hiring, development, and management strategies.
Partner with the Head of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and Centers of Excellence to implement people-related Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging strategies for feedback & performance management, hiring, leadership development, employee engagement, and retention.
Bring sound judgment in employee relations, employee and manager coaching, performance management, talent programs, and building diverse teams and inclusive environments.
Look for opportunities to refine and use HR data to improve delivery and understanding of core HR processes and influence results.
Who You Are
15+ years strategic HR and Talent Management experience (preferably in a high-tech or consumer products environment)
Can empower and sustain change, using tools and metrics to measure success.
Have led a complex organization
