Oracle Class Of Business Development Consultant Program is focused on enabling you with the needed sales skills for success in the business development role and your future career in sales. The program offers the opportunity to achieve multiple levels of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility within the Oracle sales organization. As a Business Development Consultant your initial training consists of a multi-week, comprehensive program where new hires begin to learn consultative selling skills and Oracle solutions. This serves as the base of new hire learning and provides you with the tools to make an instant impact as part of a highly collaborative sales team. What You’ll Do
A challenging, exciting role that will test your sales skills, tenacity and hunting skills, strategic thinking capabilities, ability to remain focused, and follow-through. You will be provided the tools, training, coaching, and people resources to help you be successful. Your responsibilities will include the following: generate demand for Oracle solutions through social selling and outbound cold calling, qualify Oracle prospects, produce quality leads for the Oracle Sales Team, and identify/drive product expansion opportunities via high-value relationships with existing customers.

- Collaborate and coordinate with the sales team on territory and account strategy, demand generation activities, and desired results
- Build sales pipeline using social selling, and cold calling methodologies
- Ensure all data is properly maintained and updated in the Oracle CRM application
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Oracle technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, etc.
- Develop strong customer relationships to identify and drive product expansion/upsell opportunities

- Bachelor‘s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
- 1-3 years of work experience

- Goal Oriented; able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment
