Nasdaq is seeking a cohort of organizationally gifted, technologically savvy, and socially-minded graduate students for a key, part-time, paid 20-hour a week year-long ESG Content Fellowship (2024-25), with the opportunity to also align to Fellows academic and professional interests.

What will you do:
- You will work as part of a team of ESG enthusiasts to evaluate, index, classify, edit, proof, cross-reference and code content published by organizations promoting transparency on the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) orientation of companies
- You will support the integration of this content into a SaaS platform that helps research organizations, employees, customers, investors, government agencies, companies – indeed, all of society – to understand and communicate the impact of corporate activities
- You will participate as a member of the ESG Content Team and Product Teams in key meetings and gain exposure to ESG products and learn about Nasdaq’s own ESG journey from the inside
Who you are:
- You bring prior professional and/or academic knowledge or a passion for one or more of the following areas: ESG reporting, sustainability, GHG accounting, ESG regulations, data science, machine learning, library science, knowledge management, coding and editing
- You would like to help support the growth of our products, contributing to key long and short-term projects, while gaining new skills
- You are deeply curious about ESG and technology, open to feedback, and excited to participate as a part of a team, while comfortable working independently
- You enjoy evaluating and organizing data in a way that is digestible for multiple audiences
- You have a keen attention to detail (no detail is too small)
- You are currently enrolled as a graduate student (2025 graduation date) and can commit to work during the summer before and then for the entire academic year (generally May 2024 – May 2025) Must be a student throughout the program.
- You are able to work a set schedule each week M-F during the summer and throughout the academic year, 4-5 hours each day during our team working hours (8 am – 8 pm EST)
- You bring both comfort, interest and prior experience working with key technologies for project and product management (e.g. Jira, Figma) and ideally Software as a Service (SaaS) products
- Bonus if:
- You are comfortable with manipulating structured and unstructured data, data mapping across systems, and setting up and identifying relevant data sources using technologies (e.g. Python).
- You have knowledge or experience with XBRL taxonomies and data transformation
- You have experience with knowledge management within and across teams in a corporate setting

The Fellowship can be conducted largely in a work-from-home (remote) capacity, with the opportunity to be connected to a Nasdaq office.
