Opportunity
Gain hands on social media marketing experience with a recognized personal care brand. This role will support the Playtex, Carefree and o.b. brands focused on organic social media with a priority on TikTok and Instagram platforms. Working knowledge of other core and emerging social platforms are a plus. You’ll gain brand level experience in social strategy, execution and reporting tools used in today’s CPG market and be able to proactively support organic social media plans.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Digital Media and marketing, the intern will primarily support the Associate Media Manager with content planning and creation for TikTok and Instagram (70%), research and reporting social trends and (30%) This person will support the current social strategy process and identify improvement opportunities.
Primary Essential Functions
High level interest on content creation and content calendar management
Video creation/editing via mobile phone natively in TikTok and Instagram platforms
Utilize brand research, brand owned blogs, reviews, and social insights to create content for social calendar
Secondary Essential Functions
TikTok and Instagram subject matter expert including channel capabilities and communities
Assist in monitoring and responding to TikTok inbound messages
Assist in monitoring and tracking Instagram and TikTok UGC
Assist with influencer campaigns
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
Minimum Education – Completion of sophomore year of college through graduating year.
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Preferred Major: Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Communications, or Related
Available for full commitment of 10-week program (40 hours/week)
Currently enrolled in accredited college or university in pursuit of bachelor’s degree in related field
Preferred:
Social media community management
Knowledge & Skills
Required:
Experience with TikTok, Instagram, Canva or Adobe Suite
Preferred:
Experience with Sprinklr or other social media management tool, video editor mobile apps (i.e. InShot, CapCut)
