The Opportunity
The Associate Specialist will be responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing projects and requests in support of the Insurance business. Deliverables range from email campaigns and digital/print sales materials as well as a range of marketing tactics to support the Insurance sales organization. Candidate must be comfortable interfacing with the business, have strong written communication skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter who is able to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
This is an in office role located at the Ally office in Detroit MI. Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 from home.
The Work Itself
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to coordinate marketing programs for Ally’s Dealer Financial Services business, including F&I and Ally Dealership Insurance lines of business
- Manage timing and execution of email campaigns and other integrated marketing tactics including dealer-targeted sales support, website content, dealer testimonial videos/quotes, LinkedIn content for sales team
- Manage proper data handling for email campaigns, including list requests, reviewing data attributes and list targeting, working closely with CRM and data experts
- Ensure that deliverables are created and delivered on-time in support of programs and that marketing materials align with current business goals and value proposition
- Work closely with business partners to understand business needs, review marketing materials and communicate updates
- Coordinate with key internal support teams (i.e. UX, Finance, Content Studio, Data Analytics) to develop and execute programs
- Provide direction and manage projects with multiple agency partners and vendors (advertising agencies, merchandise, print vendor)
- Utilize proper approval process with the business, marketing leadership, legal, brand and compliance. Ensure all changes are accurately implemented.
- Assist in monitoring and managing budget for projects including estimating, forecasting, monthly tracking and facilitating payments to third party vendors
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor‘s degree in Marketing or other related field preferred
- Work experience in advertising or marketing role preferred
- Agency experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of automotive industry and/or financial services strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred
- Ability to multi-task with little prompting or reminders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for project execution
- Self-directed and shows initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
